This limited edition by Monblanc is part of the Heritage Collection Egyptomania. This range commemorates the ever growing success of Montblanc. It reminisces an older line of Montblanc's writing instruments, namely "Egyptian Pens". Pens in this collection were shaped in an octagonal design, and brought to the market during the times of prosperity and mass consumerism, the 1920's.

Montblanc has created a wonderful new edition of the older range, thus embracing both history and modernity in one product: the Heritage Egyptomania. The pen features a classic design of a black and gold color palette, decorated with delicately engraved egyptian hieroglyphics.

The material of the pen consists of precious black resin to ensure long term use. The upper part of the body displays a carefully engraved hieroglyphic, which translates to "Montblanc". The clip is decorated by a beetle, a sacred symbol for the ancient Egyptians.
